As we come closer to the most awaited yearly festival of Lord Ganesha, I decided to create my own art piece in his honor. I wanted to take the most traditional route, inspired by the idea of lost stone statues hidden deep within forests, slowly being reclaimed by nature and covered in moss . A theme that has always fascinated me.
The journey began with a detailed 3D sculpt, carefully shaping the divine forms and subtle details. After retopology for a clean, optimized mesh, I moved into Substance Painter to bring out the textures and richness of aged stone and moss. Finally, the render was enhanced and composed using AI-based tools to add depth, mood, and atmosphere, completing the vision.
